Umi × Lightspeed
We’ve built across a number of Lightspeed products, principally Lightspeed Retail and Lightspeed Golf. Their APIs give us proper access to transactions and customer profiles, which is what makes automated data flows and custom booking experiences possible rather than theoretical.
Where Lightspeed becomes genuinely interesting is in combination. A golf club, a hotel and a retail operation are usually the same business wearing three hats, and the systems rarely reflect that. Connecting Lightspeed alongside the PMS and activity platforms lets us build first-party booking experiences that span the whole operation, and lets the commercial picture finally include every revenue stream rather than just the rooms.
Custom golf booking engines
Tee time search and booking built on top of Lightspeed Golf, designed around your brand and your members rather than around a default interface.
Cross-system booking journeys
Golf, rooms, retail and activities in one guest journey, pulling availability from whichever system owns it while the guest only ever sees one experience.
Transaction data flow into Retail
Flight transactions pushed into Lightspeed Retail so the commercial picture is complete and the reporting reflects what the business actually sold.
Customer profile synchronisation
Transactions and profiles connected across systems, so a member who plays, eats, shops and stays is recognised as one person rather than four unrelated records.
Behavioural data into Mio
The Lightspeed Retail and Chronogolf APIs feeding rich transaction and behavioural data into Mio, which closes the gap between marketing spend and what guests actually did on property.
